Introducing Air Duct Cleaning

Eric Nei - Tuesday, December 11, 2018

We are pleased to announce the addition of Air Duct Cleaning to the mix of necessary of cleaning services we offer for your home and business. While looking through dirty glass may be an irritation, poor indoor air quality can be a health hazard. Many of our customers already appreciate how carpet and upholstery cleaning can improve indoor air quality, but air ducts seem to get missed in the healthy home equation. Why is that?

First, we had conversations with our customer base of over 1700 households and many Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) contractors. We discovered there was not contractor local to Minocqua, Rhinelander, Eagle River, Boulder Junction and Manitowish Waters providing this service to home owners and businesses. Because we are customer service company that happens to offer cleaning, Clean As Can Be Services - Lakeland Restoration, we identified an inch that needed to be scratched. Seeing the need, we invested in industry leading equipment from Rotovac, got the necessary training to do professional work, and began offering Air Duct Cleaning October of 2018. This service has been well received, with over 50 services in the last quarter of 2018 being delivered. You can read the reviews of our work here.

Second, "out of sight, out of mind" makes Air Duct Cleaning easily forgotten. However, if you change your system filter or talk to your HVAC contractor you will understand the need for this service. Your HVAC system is the single most important home system in regards to indoor air quality. Second comes carpet, followed by other textiles in your home like upholstery and drapes. Having your HVAC system cleaned is just good common sense. You wouldn't eat off of dirty dishes, would you? So why would you set yourself up to breath dirty air?
